Boomscroll Terms of Service

Effective October 2, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Boomscroll, operated by LEGAL_ENTITY, LEGAL_ADDRESS (“we”). By using the app, you agree to them.

The app

Boomscroll is a general-wellness digital wellbeing tool. It lets you choose apps to place behind a barrier and earn temporary access through activity such as steps. It is not medical advice or a medical device, and we do not promise a change in behavior, wellbeing, or screen time.

Android Accessibility Service

On Android, app blocking requires your explicit enablement of an Accessibility Service after the app’s disclosure. The service reads the foreground package name only to recognize apps you selected, then shows Boomscroll’s own barrier. It does not read screen content, text, messages, passwords, or browsing history, and does not act inside other apps. You may revoke permission in Android Settings; blocking will stop.

Subscriptions

Optional subscriptions are $9.99 weekly, $29.99 monthly, or $199.99 annually; only annual includes a 7-day trial. Store subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple or Google processes store billing, cancellation, and store refunds. Superwall may facilitate the in-app subscription experience; it does not make us the merchant of record.

Founding-member presale

Before launch, we may offer a founding-member presale through a Stripe Payment Link at the price shown there (the current intended offer is $49 for the first year). Stripe processes payment. Buyers receive access instructions by email when the applicable app is live. We offer a 14-day refund from purchase; email CONTACT_EMAIL with the purchase email. This presale is not a promise of a particular release date or platform.

Acceptable use, disclaimers, and liability

Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app. The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Ending service and changes

You may stop using the app at any time. We may change or discontinue it, subject to applicable law. We may update these Terms and will revise this date for material changes.
