Boomscroll Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026
LEGAL_ENTITY, LEGAL_ADDRESS, operates Boomscroll. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Local-first data
Your selected blocked apps, goals, settings, step progress, and unlock history are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes local data, subject to device backup controls. We do not sell personal information.
Permissions and sensitive signals
Motion data is processed on-device for activity progress. The Android Accessibility Service receives only a foreground app package name to compare with your chosen block list. It does not inspect content in other apps and this signal is not sent to us.
Processors
Apple or Google process store payments. Stripe processes any founding-member presale payment and supplies us limited transaction information needed to provide access or refunds. Superwall may process subscription-status information. Mixpanel, Inc. may receive limited product-usage and device/app diagnostics for product analytics in the US data region. GlitchTip is self-hosted by Supr Labs LLC and handles crash reporting; it is not a third party. We instruct Mixpanel not to use your information for its own advertising. We do not include your blocked-app list, Accessibility Service signal, or screen content in analytics or crash reports.
Choices, retention, and deletion
You can turn off permissions in system settings and control store subscriptions through the store. You may request access, correction, or deletion of data we hold by emailing CONTACT_EMAIL. Because most data is local, deleting the app is normally the direct deletion method. We retain support and transaction records only as needed for support, legal obligations, and refunds.
Children and changes
The app is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will change its effective date. Contact: CONTACT_EMAIL.
